The quest to run better and faster in 30-40 degree heat continues, especially as I have entered my first half marathon here in December AHHH!
So, the prospect of an after school run to the Pagoda (which we can see from school, in the distance, on top of a MASSIVE hill), was actually more enjoyable than I first thought. As my 3rd run since being here the 8km was a challenge, but made more do able with the people around and the views at the top from the Pagoda after the intensely steep zig zag climb.

The Pagoda itself is a sight to be hold. However, the views from the top, back across the lake towards school or towards the city are beautiful and fully worth all that sweat and pain. Next time it will have to be the morning run at sunrise...
